About the Activity
This tour it's created for nature , wine and olive oil lovers . If you love wine , olive oil , nature , old traditional villages and want to learn about local life and culture then this tour is perfect for you . We explore Crete in a small group 6-7 people max . We visit one family olive oil factory where we learn all about olive oil then of course taste many different kind of olive oils combined with local herbs . After that we go up on the mountain to visit a few old traditional villages while we enjoy different local wines. We pick you up from your hotel if it’s located in the Heraklion area , Malia , Hersonisos, Gouves , Anissara , Analipsi . After this experience, probably drunk and singing on the way back home ( not the driver) it’s time to hit the road and get back to where we started.7 hours 30 minutes

Travel Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel or cruise Heraklion port or an address arranged before .
We will start our tour by visiting an olive oil factory where we learn all about and olive oil production and taste different kind of olive oil s.
Next we visit a few old traditional villages up to an altitude of 1000 feet above sea level where we walk through the old narrow streets and travel back in time while learning about the history of the village and local traditions.
After that we will enjoy a drink at the main square of the village.
we drive through mountains , olive groves and grapevines while we enjoy a glass of local wine , or 2 glasses………Tasting a few local wines up on the mountain with amazing views is a must .
After this experience we hit the road to go back to where we started ( propably drunk and singing……) well when we say drunk we don’t mean the driver .

Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations- Travelers can choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- We can pick up clients from the Heraklion city or another point arranged before in Heraklion area , Malia , Hersonisos, Anissara, Stalida otherwise there is an extra charge for transfer from Agia Pelagia , Fodele or Sisi .
- Travelers will be picked up 5 minutes before departure time
