Welcome, and thank you for your interest in William Wallace and his greatest victory at Stirling Bridge. Freedom Tour Today allows you to walk in the footsteps of Wallace and Andrew De Moray and relive the Battle on the site where it took place. We believe our Tours are the perfect way to welcome visitors to Stirling and say thank you for taking the time to remember our great heroes who fought, died, and survived at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. We shall discuss the build-up and the main characters involved in the battle, as well as present-day initiatives aiming to commemorate the importance of the Battle of Stirling Bridge. The Tour ends with a unique opportunity to look out at the viewpoint where the wooden bridge from the Battle collapses. Again, this is easier over WhatsApp than using email via Viator. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your tour starts. No toilets are available on-site, so please go before you arrive. The nearest toilets are Sainsbury's or Tesco's Superstore (7-minute walk). The meeting place is in the middle of the Old Bridge. We also produce unique T-shirts and Hoodies to fundraise for the Medieval Societies linked to the characters (Wallace and De Moray).
