About the Activity

Come see why we are Trip Advisor's #1 ranked Algonquin Park outdoor activity since 2014. We have guided Algonquin Park canoe trips since 1996. If you want to learn about canoe camping and observe wildlife, or fish, in Algonquin Park's deep interior, this is your best opportunity. You will paddle, portage, hike, camp, learn, relax, swim, cliff jump, feast, laugh & make friends. Let us get you intimate with nature. Our guides are all full-time employees (never contractors) with the highest credentials & training. They have a 90% success rate for finding moose/beaver. The food is amazing! Our local organic farm provides much of the produce for your meals. A Henrietta's Pine Bakery sandwich starts off your adventure. We make s'mores over the fire. The program is participatory in nature, so group members share in campsite chores and help carry gear. We are a veteran owned local business. Proceeds support our Canoe4Cancer charity program. Age 7+. 12pm departure and 2-3pm return.

Ticket Redemption

No redemption point. This is a direct entry ticketNo smoking (vape ok) or alcohol, no extra food, no glass/cans, no toiletries other than toothbrush/paste and no whining from any age. Pack clothes in garbage bags that you put inside a backpack (approx. 30L per person, please). Good rain gear (jacket and pants) is crucial as these are rain or shine adventures. 2 shoes - 1 for campsite & hiking, 1 for safe walking in water knee deep in water (no flip-flops, slides, open heel or barefoot ever). Long underwear, hat & gloves in Spring/Fall. We meet on the rocky Canoe Lake beach, by the picnic tables, next to the Ontario Parks office, at the far end of the beach. Please arrive by 11:30am latest. Look on the beach for our Algonquin Adventure Tour staff, boats or van with the Canadian flag logo. No insect repellant spray or pump (they poison the nature you are coming to see). Loose fitting long pants/sleeves are the best protection against insects/sun. If you must use repellant, creams and wipes are the only responsible way to apply those toxins. The photos we take on tour are only distributed via Facebook. Please do not ask us to email them to you. Unfortunately, we do not have the time, nor email and bandwidth capacity, to be sending multiple large files to clients. We would need an additional full time employee, and have to charge at least $50 for that service. It will only take you a few minutes to set up a bogus FB account, just for accessing useful corporate pages like ours, if you didn't already have one. And, you can set it up using a Goggle Chrome incognito page, if you really want internet anonymity. Clients may opt-out of having their photos taken, if they don't want us anonymously posting them publicly. Canada has a tipping culture (10% of a tour cost) for guides who demonstrate exemplary service. Please consider tipping your guide, if they impressed you.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cannot be cancelled or amended without incurring a 100% penalty; i.e., the refund amount will be zero.
