Wurzburg, Germanythis is optonal, book one of the attractions per booking Würzburg's Old City, nestled in Bavaria, Germany, is a treasure trove of history and architecture and the beginning of the romantic road. At its heart lies the Würzburg Cathedral, an impressive blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque styles. The nearby Marienkapelle, with its striking red facade and Riemenschneider sculptures, and the Rococo Falkenhaus, known for its intricate stucco work, are standout landmarks.
