3. Pull up the QR code on your phone that was sent to you when you completed the ticket booking. Present it at the designated scanning area at the entrance.
4. Once the QR code is successfully scanned, you can immediately enter the Yungang Grottoes and start exploring the amazing ancient caves, filled with remarkable Buddhist sculptures and carvings.
If you choose the ticket-only option, your guide will meet you at the main entrance with a sign displaying your name at your scheduled time.
For those who opt for the combined guide and private transportation service, they will pick you up at your hotel in Datong to start the day's itinerary.
