About the Activity
On this tour, spend a day experiencing "neputa," Aomori Prefecture's summer tradition, as you lay your eyes on large neputa floats paraded in the Aomori Neputa Festival and create a lantern by reusing neputa paintings actually used in the festival. You will surely be fascinated by the vivid colors of Aomori's nebuta floats. Families traveling with their kids in tow can feel free to join as a hired car is used for transportation. The tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.6 hours

- Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.
