Nishio, one of Japan’s top matcha-producing regions alongside Uji, accounts for 20% of the country’s matcha production. Known for its rich theanine content, Nishio matcha offers a deep umami flavor and a relaxing effect. This tour lets you experience matcha production with all five senses while learning from a local guide about its 800-year history. Start by picking tea leaves at an award-winning tea field and taking photos in a traditional *Chatsumi Musume* costume. Then, visit the renowned "Aoi Seicha" factory to see how matcha is made. Experience grinding tea leaves with a stone mill and enjoy a fresh matcha tasting. Finally, participate in a casual matcha ceremony using *Nishio no Matcha*.
