La Leona Day Tour from Puerto Jimenez Live an authentic experience away from the crowds at the southern entrance to Corcovado National Park. We leave early from Puerto Jimenez in a 4x4 vehicle, traveling through stunning landscapes until we reach the Carate sector, where we begin our walk to La Leona Biological Station. During the tour, accompanied by a local naturalist guide, you will explore trails surrounded by primary jungle and beach, home to amazing biodiversity. You can observe monkeys, macaws, toucans, tapirs, sloths and more, in a truly wild environment without large groups. When you book this tour, you will enter one of the wildest corners of Costa Rica. We leave early from Puerto Jimenez by 4x4 vehicle to the entrance of Corcovado National Park: La Leona Station.
You will begin a guided hike along coastal and jungle trails. Accompanied by a local naturalist guide, explore the primary forest for monkeys, macaws, toucans, tapirs, sloths and more.
The guide will explain about the ecosystem, medicinal plants and wildlife. We use telescopes and binoculars so you don't miss the details.
At the end, you will return along the same path to Carate, where transportation will take you back to Puerto Jimenez, with unforgettable memories of Corcovado.View LocationMeeting and Pickup
