Travel Itinerary
- Maximum 12 travellers in this tour.
For our half-day canoe trip please check in with your guide at the starting location in Totnes. We will hand out buoyancy aids and dry bags for your belongings to take on the river, followed by a 15 mins safety briefing and how-to paddle instructions.
We will then get on the water and paddle for around 1.5 hrs with the tidal flow which helps us along gliding through the stunning landscape. We will start in Totnes and paddle either upriver towards Dartington or downriver past Sharpham estate and towards Stoke Gabriel. There is no rush and well will make sure that the paddle speed suits all of the group members. After 1.5hrs we will have our halfway break for about 30 mins by the side of the river with tea or coffee / hot chocolate provided. After the break, we will paddle back to the start which will take up to 1.5 hours. Our friendly guides will be with you the whole time happy to help and share some knowledge about the river.
