About the Activity
You will share a snowmobile with another person, taking turns as the driver and passenger. Halfway through the tour, we’ll have a short break where you’ll swap places, ensuring both of you have the chance to drive the snowmobile. After the tour, you can relax and warm up with a hot meal and drink by the open fire inside one of the lávvus (indigenous Sámi tent). During your meal, a camp host will inform you where and when you are expected for the second part of your activity: the visit to Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park. Enter the Park and discover the magic of the snow and ice sculptures. Wander around by yourself through a mesmerising display of snow and ice sculptures, a snow maze and explore our two domes. Marvel at the amazing art coming to life with light in its natural surroundings of pristine nature and peaceful Arctic landscapes. Get close to the two most iconic animals of Northern Norway: cuddle and take photos with our huskies and go visit the reindeers near the park.8 hours

Combine the thrill of driving your own snowmobile through the remote wilderness of the Arctic, with a magical visit to the Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.
Depart from the city center of Tromsø by bus and embark on this exciting adventure. After a 90-minute relaxing bus journey, you will enter the remote area Tamokdalen where our wilderness camp is located.
Upon arrival at Camp Tamok, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and outfitted with all the necessary gear and clothing, including thermal suit, boots, gloves and helmet as you will first head out on the snowmobiling tour. Our expert guides will provide thorough safety instructions on how to drive a snowmobile, ensuring everyone feels confident and safe before heading out on the tour.
