About the Activity

In this class, we will cook 3-4 Japanese home-style cuisine together. You will be able to learn how to make Dashi (Japanese soup stock), about Japanese ingredients and how to cook them. After enjoying the dishes we have made, we will have sake tasting time. Very unique and rare high quality of Sake distilled locally in Japan will be prepared. If you are not a fan of alcohol, we can change the program to Japanese tea tasting or a calligraphy experience. You will have wonderful experience while staying in Japan It will be memorable special event!

I teach basic but authentic home-style Japanese Cuisine in this class. Let's enjoy cooking together. When you book this class, please choose "cooking menu from A,B,C or D as shown below. I will prepar ingredients beforehand. (ATTN: Only if you or your group is only attendee(s) on the day, you can choose your favorite menu. When another group also attend the same class, you may not be able to choose the menu.) All of menu is very popular and well-known in Japan. After enjoying the dishes we have made, we will have sake tasting time. Very unique and rare high quality of Sake distilled locally in Japan will be prepared. However, If you are not a fan of alcohol or not adult, we can change the activity to Japanese tea tasting or calligraphy experience. Actually, there are many kinds of Japanese Tea, not only Green tea in Japan. As for Calligraphy, you can write your name or Kanji by using Special brushes and ink. When you book, please let me know what activity you would like to choose. This activity will take about 2.5hours for cooking and 0.5hour for Sake(tea) tasting or calligraphy. Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations

Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
I will pick you up at Chiba station. Please get out of the WEST EXIT of Chiba station." I will be waiting for you in front of the exit with a placard saying "Cooking Activity".
Travelers will be picked up 15 minutes before departure time
