About the Activity
On our 2.5 hours Street Food Tour you'll see the highlights of the historic center of Siracusa, living the island as a local and taste lots of local specialties. The tour always have vegetarian options! See some of the main sights of the city, including Via Cavour, the Jewish Quarter, the Local Market, and more. While you stroll around the beating heart of Siracusa I’ll take you to taste the famous Arancino, a traditional rice ball with ragú that will tickle your taste buds. Savor mouthwatering Panino, stop by one of Italian most famous mozzarella maker, to taste the cheeses and the best panino of your life. As part of our 4th stops, taste the real Sicilian “cannolo” (with ricotta cheese). Finally, while we walk through the local market, taste several flavors of the real Sicilian ¨Granita with Brioche¨, from one traditional pastry shop of the city! Next, we will explore the fantastic Giudecca neighborhood, my personal favorite. Amidst former synagogues and a few hidden gems, I'll share tales of the recipes introduced by the Arabs in this area.
