Only during limited periods
There is a large wisteria trellis near Byodoin Houou-do Hall, which usually blooms brightly around Golden Week every year.It came to be called "Phoenix Hall" around the beginning of the Edo period (1603-1867) because of the pair of phoenix statues set on the roof. Its most significant feature is that it is built on the middle island of a pond. It reflects its beautiful appearance on the surface of the pond, as if it were a palace floating in the "Treasure Pond" of paradise.1 hour 40 minutes • Admission Ticket IncludedView LocationChazuna(Pass By)
