You guide will wait at the bottom of the steps that lead up to the Visitor and Information Centre in Chester. It is next to the Town Hall, facing the Cathedral and a statue of three figures entwined. If you can be 5 to 10 minutes early that would be helpful.View Location

The New Market has parking and is just around the corner from where we meet at the visitors centre. There is parking at the New Market, and also at the racecourse (park opposite the racecourse for £6 per day). The train connections to Chester from Manchester and Liverpool are direct. View Location

- Important to note - The tour involves around a 5k walk. It is at a relaxed pace, and there are numerous rests and places to sit down along the way. We go up and down some stairs and very slight inclines to reach our foodie destinations.
