Casa Rosada
Calle Balcarce 50, Buenos Aires, Argentina, C1064AABIt is a palace located in front of the Plaza de Mayo that functions as the seat of the National Government. This imposing pink building occupies the site where the Fort of Buenos Aires was erected in 1580. It was the residence of Spanish viceroys and then housed, with some reforms, the authorities of the successive national governments. Its final structure is neoclassical and has a profile rarely used in cathedrals, giving it a closer resemblance to a Greek temple than to the classic Catholic building.15 minutes • Admission Ticket FreeView Location
