About the Activity
Experience two unique wineries, a Maori cultural site and stunning sightseeing up Te Mata Peak. Beginning on the coast, you will gain an appreciation for Maori knowledge (Matauranga Maori) at the Atea a rangi Celestial Compass. From there, you'll enjoy a wine-tasting and cheese platter at Clearview Winery (with a short tour if the winery is available). We'll journey through the magnificent Tukituki Valley and then up to the top of Te Mata Peak. All the while learning about the unique culture, geology, botany and history of the region. Finally, you'll finish with another tasting at the family-owned boutique Askerne Winery before returning to Napier City. All the while you will be guided by local experts in a fully electric vehicle with zero emissions. Please note: This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum is not met, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund. The tour is delivered in English - Other languages are available by special request.4 hours
