Located at the foot of the Schilthorn, this picturesque mountain village sits above the Lauterbrunnen Valley and is considered one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Switzerland. The area around the car-free village boasts excellent hiking and winter sports opportunities, impressive waterfalls and an incomparable view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
After walking for about 1.5 hours, we will arrive to Murren, and we will walk its tiny little streets, and admire the most amazing mountain views and its wooden chalets. Gimmelwald
Gimmelwald, SwitzerlandQuiet. Traditional. Where there are more cows than people. Gimmelwald is a very unspoilt mountain farming village with around 100 inhabitants. They live here in close contact with nature and the animals. The village is characterised by chalets decorated with flowers in front of the four-thousand-metre-high Jungfrau mountain massif. The sound of cowbells is usually the only thing that "disturbs" the tranquil atmosphere.
