About the Activity
Your Lauterbrunnen Adventure begins in Lauterbrunnen village. Here you will meet your Private Guide and walk along the valley which inspired Tolkien to create Rivendell many years ago. Enjoy the waterfalls and sheer cliffs, pass by our famous church and the Staubbachfall - Europes highest! - and then experience the mighty Trummelbachfalls, where 20,000 litres of water thunder through the mountain each and every second. Take a cablecar up the mountain to the unspoilt Alpine villages of Gimmelwald and Mürren, where time stands still. Here, from the historic village streets, you will enjoy panoramic views of 'the Swiss Skyline' - the snow-capped peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. From here you will take the panoramic mountain train and cablecar back down to Lauterbrunnen village.3 hours to 4 hours
