About the Activity

Experience Okinawa Eisa on Kokusai Street! There are places where you can see Eisa, but not many where you can experience it yourself. You'll start with the basic steps and simple choreography of Eisa, and by the end you'll be able to perform a small performance. It takes place on Naha's main street, Kokusai Street, and takes about an hour. You can experience it in the spare time between sightseeing and eating. You can rent authentic Eisa costumes (including drums and headbands), wear them and dance, and take photos and videos freely, so they're great for posting on social media. Experience Okinawa's traditional Eisa performing arts. For the first 20 minutes, you will learn the choreography of Eisa using paranku (small drums) and shimedaiko drums. After that, you will put on Eisa costumes and dance together to the music. This activity can be enjoyed by people from 2 years old to adults, as well as families and couples. You are free to take photos and videos. You can enjoy it in an hour between sightseeing and meals.View Location
