Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating tales of the people who lived, worked, and sometimes misbehaved here — from merchants and mariners to saints and smugglers. The stories are woven around the landmarks you’ll see as we stroll through Padstow’s charming streets, giving you a deeper appreciation of the history behind the buildings and the traditions that make this place unique. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a frequent guest to Padstow, this tour offers a fresh perspective and plenty of entertaining, little-known facts you won’t find on the signposts. Walks take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am and last around 80 minutes.

Meeting and Pickup

Starting point

We meet at White Shelter, North Quay, Padstow. I will be standing next to a sign saying, The Padstow History Walk - Meeting Point View Location

End point

The walk ends outside the public house called the Harbour. Guests then disperse fro wherever they are going next. Maybe another town in Cornwall or lunch in one of the excellent restaurants in PadstowView Location

Customers must make their own way to and meet at the start point
