Jiufen Old Street
New Taipei, TaiwanFinally we will visit the photographic town of Jiufen. This small town is located on the mountainside, and enjoys stunning views of the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Jiufen houses a market along its main street, where we can sample local delicacies – such as pineapple cupcakes or a meatloaf with rice paste – and visit the workshops and shops of artisans who have settled in Jiufen. The town is famous for the traditional tea houses hidden in its winding alleys, and for the red lanterns decorating its streets, which infuse Jiufen with a special charm.
