There are many important sights: the baroque, gateau-like St. Nicholas church, the Kinský Palace - the city’s finest rococo facade, the gothic House at the Stone Bell, the spiky-topped Church of Týn and much more. The Square is dominated by the Jan Hus Statue and the Old Town Hall (damaged by Nazis in W.W. II). Everybody just "wow" at the truly amazing Astronomical Clock with the hourly show - 12 apostles appearing in two windows and the skeleton ringing the bell.
Notice the bloody execution place marked by the crosses.
We can also reach the tower of the Town Hall (by lift :-) and enjoy a panoramic view.
