About the Activity
This is probably the best well-kept secret in Cabo. Just an hour from the coast, there is a true oasis in the middle of the desert. Let us take you there on a scenic and informative walk. You will learn the names of the plants and insects living in this rare climate while hiking on rocks of different shapes, sizes, and colors. The reward of this challenging uphill trail is finding a river along the way as well as freshwater pools, water slides, and a larger pool nested at the base of a waterfall. You will be glad to be wearing your bathing suit to jump in for a good swim, and quickly dry off while walking back to the van. We will then have lunch at a local restaurant serving authentic Mexican food. Afterward, you will be ready to relax and enjoy the view of the desert on the return trip to your hotel.6 hours 30 minutes

Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations; or, customers can make their own way to the start point- Travelers can choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra Hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour. - Our Fox Canyon hiking tour is considered medium difficulty level, therefore participants should be in good physical condition and at least moderately fit to go on this hike.
- Since this is a private tour, you can decide whether or not to complete the full activity.
- As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain and road cuts.
- All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
- Lunch is included. We’ll take you to a local restaurant, offering 100% Mexican dishes such as fish tacos, chicken, beef, salsa, guacamole, tortilla chips, and refreshing flavored water. We also have a vegetarian option with salads, quesadillas, beans, rice, etc. Lunch is included but optional, so there is no discount offered on the activity if you choose not to go for lunch.
- For a full refund, cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
