We invite you to take a journey with us and be introduced to the Ribeirão Silveira Guarani Indigenous reservation combined with a beach time. The idea is to strengthen ties with the Indian population, increase knowledge and, thus, gain more respect for their culture and history through remarkable experiences. In the area occupied by 550 visitor-friendly Indians, hunting, fishing, planting and elaboration of handicrafts are practiced. Unlike tribes from remote north and west of Brazil that have greater visibility, urban Indians often struggle to be seen and heard due to the proximity to the largest urban areas in the country, but despite the hardships faced in the last five centuries, they graciously allow guests to have a rare glimpse into their life and culture. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we drive 20 minutes to one of the most gorgeous beach in the state. Offer them respect and dignity and they’ll reward you in return with stories about their way of life, singing and dancing performances, selling handicrafts, body painting, lectures, hikes through trails experiencing the diversity of Atlantic’s fauna, flora in the rainforest.
In addition, bring your swimsuits along so we can jump in the river and waterfalls where often the Indigenous kids swim and splash around.
