About the Activity
The 4-day Amazon Jungle Exploration is a trip that begins from Iquitos, Peru. It is one of our most favorite explorations, you will have the opportunity to observe wildlife in the Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo Reserve, you will observe a great variety of birds, you will learn about medicinal plants and the way of life of the Amazonian Communities. You will explore this pristine and remote Amazon Rainforest with our jungle guides (private) to observe birds (there are more than 500 types of birds in our area), pink and gray dolphins, sloths, caimans, capybaras, monkeys (there are more than 10 species in our area), frogs, snakes, giant trees and medicinal plants. Some activities in the jungle include hiking, boat excursion, canoeing, sport fishing, visits to the local community, swimming near dolphins in the Amazon River, medicinal plant tour, Full Day and Survival in primary jungle.4 days

Area de Conservacion Regional Comunal Tamshiyacu Tahuayo
Iquitos, Peru9:15 a.m. Reception at the Airport or Hotel in Iquitos, we will take you to our office to complete all the details of your excursion. Transfer by land (road) and speedboat (navigating the Amazon River) This is a 3-hour trip to our jungle Lodge. Welcome drink of local fruits and distribution in your private Bungalow (a jungle ensuite room).
1:00 p.m. Lunch time.
First contact with the wild jungle with a walk of 2-3 hours learming about medicine plants special trees like rubber tree and searching wild animals, like monkies, sloths, birds and others.
7:00 p.m. Dinner time.

Pickup details
Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations- Travelers can choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- Curassow is only accessible by our private transports. Our transfer leaves Iquitos to the Lodge every day at 9:30 AM. And return from the Lodge to Iquitos after lunch between 1:30 to 2:00 PM. Arriving in Iquitos at approximately 4:00 PM. To comply with this itinerary, you must be in Iquitos before 9:00 AM. and for your last day your flight must depart from Iquitos after 6:00 PM. Our new route by land and speedboat allows us to transport travelers who arrive in Iquitos until before 2 PM. If you have flights outside the time of our private transfers, just let us know to schedule an extra transportation without additional charges.
