This impressive site, built in the 14th century, served as a royal residence for King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella during their reign. The Alcázar played a significant role in key historical events, including the planning of Christopher Columbus’s voyage to the Americas.
As you tour the interior, you’ll discover fascinating halls, ancient mosaics, and the remains of Roman and Visigothic artifacts. Then, step outside to experience the breathtaking gardens, a true oasis of tranquility. We will also visit the Synagogue whenever possible, it's a very small building constructed in 1315. It is one of the only three originals remaining in Spain. We usually finish the tour in the Jewish Quarter, but if a client would like us to accompany them to a specific nearby location or restaurant, we are happy to do so. Occasionally, we may also conclude the tour inside the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs or within the Mezquita-Catedral. This depends on various factors, such as the number of visitors at the monuments, the weather, or other circumstances.
