The palace is an hour outside of Berlin and used to house Fredrick the Great. It consists of 12 rooms and is rather small but comes with a gallery and a huge garden. An audio guide will inform you what you are looking at. Lots of paintings and old furniture. Don't miss out on the pump station that is responible for the water fountains in the garden. It is designed to look like a mosque. You need to buy a time slot online in order to get access to the venue and the time slots are very tight. Schedules every 5 minutes. If you want to take pictures you should also buy a license for that.

Sanssouci Palace
Sanssouci was the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. The palace's name emphasizes this; it is a French phrase (sans Souci), which translates as "without concerns", meaning "without worries" or "carefree", symbolizing that the palace was a place for relaxation rather than a seat of power.
