About Lago d' Arpy
The lake Arpy is a lake basin of the Valle d'Aosta. It is Of glacial origin, enclosed between Mont Charvet, Becca Pouegnenta, and Mount Colmet. It has become the second most important body of water in Armenia, next to Lake Sevan. It is used for irrigation and hydropower production. It was built as a diocesan Marian sanctuary and is one of the most popular sanctuaries in the Aosta Valley.
