Torre Guaceto Marine Protected AreaThe Torre Guaceto state nature reserve is a protected natural area located on the Adriatic coast of upper Salento , a few kilometers from the centers of Carovigno and San Vito dei Normanni and 17 km from Brindisi . The Carovignese coasts of the reserve, the beaches of Torre Guaceto and Punta Penna Grossa, were awarded with the Blue Flag in 2007, and from 2016 to 2020. Piazza Sant'OronzoThe column of Sant'Oronzo, about 29 meters high, is located in piazza Sant'Oronzo in Lecce. On the top, it houses the statue of the patron saint made in Venice in 1739.
