About National Trust - The Weir Garden
The Weir is a riverside garden in the care of the National Trust and is bordered by the River Wye in Herefordshire. The riverside garden is left natural with many wildflowers in summer, snowdrops in winter and daffodils in spring. Built in 1621, the house has been used for many purposes over the years, starting life as a butcher's home and shop and finishing its commercial life in the hands of Lloyds Bank in the late 1920s.
