About Leighton Hall Estate
Leighton Hall is set in beautiful parkland and garden which stretches over some 1550 acres and is surrounded by a working estate comprising livestock farms, rental accommodation, clay pigeon shooting facilities, and an off-road driving track. Children can run wild in the play area or explore a woodland trail and are encouraged to get involved. There are no roped-off areas. Lune AqueductThe Lune Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Lancaster Canal over the River Lune, on the east side of the city of Lancaster in Lancashire, England. It was completed in 1797 at a total cost of £48,320 18s 10d. It is a Grade I listed building. It's a masterpiece of civil engineering. 202 metres long, it carries Lancaster Canal 16 metres above the River Lune. It was designed by John Rennie and constructed by Alexander Stevens in 1797.
Levens HallA magnificent Elizabethan mansion built around a 13th Century pele tower, which was expanded and rebuilt towards the end of the 16th Century. Both the Hall and the gardens are open to the public. The core of this delightful Elizabethan manor is a pele tower built in 1350 as a defence against Scottish raiders. One of the iconic attractions in this area and it attracts a lot of tourists here.
Eric Morecambe StatueThe Statue of Eric Morecambe in Morecambe, Lancashire, England is a commemorative bronze sculpture of Eric Morecambe.
