Gordale ScarGordale Scar is a limestone ravine 1 mile northeast of Malham, North Yorkshire, England. It contains two waterfalls and has overhanging limestone cliffs over 330 feet high. The gorge could have been formed by water from melting glaciers or a cavern collapse. Scar House ReservoirScar House Reservoir is the second of the three reservoirs in Upper Nidderdale, England, the others being Angram Reservoir and Gouthwaite Reservoir. The majority of the park is in North Yorkshire, with a sizeable area in Cumbria and a small part in Lancashire. The park was designated in 1954 and extended in 2016. Over 95% of the land in the Park is under private ownership; there are over 1,000 farms in this area.
