About St Mary’s Church
St Mary's Church is a lovely 13th-century building in a cobbled square at the junction of St Mary's Street and St Mary's Hill in the historic town centre of Stamford. One of the glories of St Mary's is the 14th century Corpus Christi Chapel. It is the earliest part of the church and has connections with an educational foundation that later became Stamford School. National Trust - Priest's House, Easton on the HillThe National Trust's Priest's House, Easton on the Hill, is a small 15th century stone building in Northamptonshire. It was built by John Stokes (or Stokke), who was Rector of Easton from 1456 until his death in 1495.
