About Minimundus
Minimundus is a miniature park in Klagenfurt in Carinthia, Austria. It displays over 150 miniature models of architecture from around the world, built at a ratio of 1:25. Since its opening in 1958, more than 15 million visitors have visited the 26,000 square meters park. Reptilienzoo HappA beautiful zoo which was reserved for replies. The animal population shows a cross-section through the reptile world living today: from the largest giant snake in the world, the reticulated python; to the most venomous snake in the world, the taipan; the largest venomous snake in the world, the king cobra or various lizards such as crocodiles and rhinoceros iguanas. According to its own information, it is the largest and most species-rich reptile zoo in Austria.
EuropaparkA beautiful park located on the east bank of Worthersee Lake, right next to Minimundus, there’s a lovely green space that mixes all the fun of beaches, meadows and forest within itself – Europa Park. At 22 acres, it’s once of Austria’s largest parks. It’s a great place for Picnics, strolling, chess, people watching and so more.
Lindwurm FountainThe lindworm fountain placed at the Neue Platz is the landmark of the Carinthian capital city Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. The sculpture was created in 16th century and refers to the foundation legend of the city. It depicts a stone statue of a mythical creature, which is a combination of a dragon and a snake. Water flows out of his open mouth, and his silhouette looks like he is getting ready to attack.

RauscheleseeThe Rauschelesee is a lake in the Keutschacher Seental near the Keutschacher See in the municipality of Keutschach am See. The lake is used as a bathing and fishing water. The catchment area of the Rauschelesees is separated from that of the Keutschacher See by a watershed. The Rauschelesee drains to the east, the Keutschacher See to the north via the Reifnitzbach into the Wörthersee. The lake is stretched in an east-west direction.
WörtherseeA beautiful lake in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia. It is elongated, about 16.5 km long and 1.5 km wide, and stretches from the outskirts of the Carinthian capital Klagenfurt in the east to the bay of Velden in the west The popular bathing lake is a main tourist destination in summer. Most tourists visit the Lake in the months of July and August when water temperatures reach 25 °C. A large proportion of visitors return every summer and some own or rent holiday homes along the shore.
