About Burg Hasegg / Hall Mint
A majestic castle built to protect the salt mines, river trade, the bridge over the River Inn and also to guard the old salt route. During the 15th century the castle was enlarged to become a residence for princes. It now houses a museum called mint museum and open to the general public. Großer BettelwurfThe Großer Bettelwurf is a mountain, 2,726 m, and thus the highest peak in the Gleirsch-Halltal Chain in the Karwendel mountains of Tyrol. It is also the fourth highest summit in the Karwendel. The neighbouring Kleiner Bettelwurf reaches a height of 2,650 m. It is a good trekking destination and also it offers nice views of this area also.
