About Fogelsanghstate
The Fogelsangh State is a 17th-century state in the Frisian village of Veenklooster . The state forms the core of the 180 hectare estate of the same name. It was founded about 1650 by Dirck Fogelsangh near the former site of the Premonstratensian monastery Mons Oliveti (the Mount of Olives) that was closed in 1580.
