About Eijsden Castle
Kasteel Eijsden is a castle and national monument in the Dutch Limburg municipality of Eijsden-Margraten . The castle was built in 1636, rebuilt in 1767 and restored historically in 1881-1886. It consists of two wings at right angles to each other, which connect to a projecting heavy corner tower at the outer corner, which in turn is flanked by a narrow stair turret.
