About People of Laaf
The People of Laaf is an attraction in the amusement park Efteling in the Netherlands. It is a small village, called “Lavelaer”, inhabited by the so-called “Laafs”. The visitors can walk through the village and enter the houses, among which a bakery, a brewery, a windmill and a nursery and watch the Laafs do their normal daily activities.Address : Europalaan 1, 5171 KW Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands

Anton Pieck PleinAnton Pieckplein is a square in the Efteling , named after one of the founders of the park: Anton Pieck . It has a nostalgic atmosphere with antique merry -go-rounds and various catering outlets. The square was named after Pieck in 1954, to recognize him for his great influence on the success of the Fairytale Forest . The square, with old-fashioned houses and merry-go-rounds, was also designed by him.
Villa VoltaVilla Volta is a madhouse in the Dutch amusement park De Efteling . It is an attraction that creates the illusion that people are going over the head. The house was designed by Ton van de Ven and it was built in 1995 by Vekoma . At the opening it was the first attraction of its kind, since then the type has been widely imitated in other amusement parks. In 1997 Villa Volta won a Thea Award.
DroomvluchtDroomvlucht is a dark ride opened in 1993 in the Dutch amusement park Efteling . In the theme ride, hanging gondolas travel a distance of 425 meters past various fairytale or dreamlike scenes with forests, castles, fairies , elves , trolls and other fairytale creatures. Although no consistent story is told at Droomvlucht and the various scenes are only loosely linked, Droomvlucht claims to be the most visited and most popular attraction in the Efteling.
