This park was built in 2010 as "Westminster Center Park" and nicknamed "Peter Pan Park" by locals. The play area surprises with a London theme, complete with the River Thames, Tower Bridge, and Big Ben. Westminster CastleThe 175-foot tall hilltop historic landmark overlooks Denver with an exceptional view of the Front Range. The Westminster Castle is part of the National Register of Historic Places. It is also locally known as "The Pillar of Fire" Because of its unique color coming from sandstone from the Red Rocks. Bowles is largely credited for bringing the Colorado & Southern Railroad to the present-day Westminster area. it was originally constructed as a wood frame homestead cabin but was rebuilt entirely from brick in 1876.
