Cottonwood Center for the Arts is a nonprofit arts complex located in downtown Colorado Springs. Cottonwood holds over 80 studio artists, gallery spaces, a theater and classrooms. Connects to Pikes Peak Greenway Trail.There are interactive pieces of art, called Quirks, which inhabit one side of the playground. It would provide a community space where people could convene in the beauty of the city. It was completed in 2005, after many years of planning and construction, with the sculptural fountain being dedicated soon after.
