Mount RichthofenMount Richthofen is the highest summit of the Never Summer Mountains range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. Today, the mountain is typically climbed from Lake Agnes to the north, easily reachable from Cameron Pass. The mountain is a steep Class 3 climb that often requires travel on steep scree slopes that are not very stable. The mountain was named in honor of pioneering German geologist Baron Ferdinand von Richthofen, apparently by Clarence King's 1870 survey team.

Timber Lake TrailTimber Lake is a typical Rocky Mountain National Park day hike destination, situated on the slightly less busy west side of the mountains and reached by a 4.6 mile path starting from a large trailhead in Kawuneeche Valley, along US 34 just before the start of the steep climb towards Trail Ridge. Eventually, the trail enters a beautiful meadowland where moose and elk are frequent encounters. Soon after, Timber Lake Trail will cross the sometimes roaring Beaver Creek via an elevated bridge.

Willow Creek Pass
Willow Creek Pass, is a mountain pass that crosses the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains of north central Colorado.The pass is not an especially high one along the continental divide in Colorado, since the mountains separating North Park and Middle Park are relative low compared to nearby ranges.The pass is traversed by State Highway 125. The nearest commercial facilities are in the unincorporated community of Rand in Jackson County just north of the pass.
