How to Reach Powderhorn Mountain Resort

The best way to get to Powderhorn Mountain Resort is by car. It is located in the town of Mesa County, Colorado, just off I-70 at exit 310A (Winfield). Travel south on US Highway 40 for 15 miles from Durango or 20 miles north from Silver Cliff, and there will be signs pointing towards "Prairiefire Road." Follow this dirt road up past several locked gates until it ends near a large radio tower with an overlook point nearby - then look right! Noway to miss them because they are open every day during ski season.

Admission to the resort is $45 for adults and $30 for children ages 6-12. Seniors (65+) and military personnel receive a 10% discount.
