About Frog Temple

The Frog Temple (Medhak Mandir) is located in the small town of Oel Dhakwa in the Lakhimpur Kheri district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The temple is unique in its architecture, structure. It is said that the temple was built under the guidance of a Kapalik Tantrik and is based on some yantra described in Tantra Vidya. The entire temple structure is erected on the back of a big frog.
