The James Millikin Homestead, is a testament to the impact of hardworking Midwestern farmers. Built in 1881, it has experienced research-based restoration efforts to maintain its historic integrity. The homestead consists of 19th century artifacts, including a 70-foot log cabin with four workable fireplaces and four original heartwood built-in cupboards designed by the family. The property also features a horse shed and corn cribs as part of the original farmsteads.
