About Mount Haystack
Mount Haystack is a mountain located in Essex County, New York. It is part of the Adirondack Mountains range and stands at an elevation of 2,940 feet. The summit provides views of Lake Champlain, the High Peaks region, and the Green Mountains in Vermont.The mountain was named for its resemblance to a haystack, with its nearly flat summit.
