A thick forest that sits prettily at the foothills of Great Himalayan mountains having a large variety of flora and fauna. It is especially famous for its Asiatic one-horned rhino and there are so many other animals too. Chapramari Wildlife forestIt is an extension of Gorumara National Park and is a relatively small forest. There is a wide range of wildlife and birds in Chapramari. Jeep safaris are offered by the forest department to see the wilderness of the forest which covers around 960 hectares.

Jatileswar TempleThis famous temple of Dooars is one of the oldest temples of the region built around 320 AD to 600 AD. The temple is dedicated to Jatileswar or Lord Shiva. It is under the protection of the Archaeological Survey of India.
Karala RiverThe small River Karala, popularly known as ‘the Thames of Jalpaiguri’ flows through the middle of the town. A nature walk along the riverbank of Karala is truly refreshing. There is boat riding and a well-maintained park adjacent to the river.
