About Meteor Crater Natural Landmark
Meteor Crater is a meteorite impact crater in the northern Arizona desert. Scientists refer to the crater as Barringer Crater in honor of Daniel Barringer, who was first to suggest that it was produced by meteorite impact. The crater was created about 50,000 years ago during the Pleistocene epoch, when the local climate on the Colorado Plateau was much cooler and damper.Address : Interstate 40, Winslow, AZ 86047, USA

Standin' on The Corner FoundationStandin' on the Corner Park is a public park in Winslow, Arizona. The park contains a two-story trompe-l'œil mural by John Pugh, a flatbed Ford truck, and a bronze statue by Ron Adamson of a life-sized man who is standing on a corner with a guitar by his side. The park is surrounded by a wall of bricks, with windows to peer into; each brick has a donor's name on it, and a story by each of the donors describing their fondness for Winslow, Arizona.
