About Silliman Hall
The Silliman Hall is a building constructed in the Stick Style of American architecture in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines. It was built in the early 1900s. It was converted to a museum in 1970. It is located in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines. The collections are divided into two categories and seven galleries. Mount TalinisMount Talinis, nicknamed locally “Cuernos de Negros” is the picturesque, double-peaked volcano you see rising up behind Atmosphere Resorts. Our mountain, blanketed with the thick, thriving jungle is located in Valencia, west of Dumaguete City. The giant tropical plants and trees are well-fed from the humid downpours that engulf the peaks almost daily.
Apo IslandApo Island is in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. Apo is a tiny island with a small beach. The small town uses gathered rainwater as tap water. There is electricity only 3 hours a day, and there is no wifi connectivity (except for liberty lodge, and it is strictly for hotel guests only—eating at their restaurant will not grant you access to the wifi).
