The Seetal is a valley in the cantons of Lucerne and Aargau in Switzerland. The valley descends from south to north from near Eschenbach to Lenzburg and is drained by the Aabach and the Ron. Heidegg CastleHeidegg Castle is a castle in the municipality of Hitzkirch of the Canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Heidegg was the only castle to survive the arson attacks by the Swiss Confederates. Legend has it that it was suddenly blanketed in fog as the soldiers marched through the Seetal. The ancient walls of the castle have a lot to tell.
