ZugerbergThe Zugerberg is the local mountain for residents in the canton. The view over the Alps and foothills from up there is fantastic and there is an adventure playground and nature protection area up there. The Zugerbergbahn funicular connects the Zugerberg from Zug. Kunsthaus ZugThe Kunsthaus Zug has existed since 1990 in a complex from the 16th century, the “Hof Im Dorf”, on the edge of the old town of Zug in Switzerland. It shows the most important collection of Viennese Modernism outside of Austria. The house owes its collection of works of classical modernism with a focus on Vienna to the Kamm Collection Foundation. First opened in 1871, the Mt Rigi rack train was originally pulled by steam engines. It was changed to electric, later on, but still today the route operates with nostalgic steam on special runs. Lake Zug
The Lake Zug is one of the lesser-known Swiss lakes, on the outskirts of the Alps and north of Lake Lucerne. It is fed by the Aa, which descends from the Rigi and enters the south end of the lake. The Lorze feeds the lake at the northern shore.
